Lyf by Misha Mostert ("Lyf", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how you can control it. It is written to meet Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
Who is responsible for your information
Misha Mostert, operating as Lyf by Misha Mostert, is responsible for your personal information.
What we collect
When you fill in our inquiry form, we collect your name, email address, WhatsApp number (if you give it), how you'd like to be contacted, the services you're interested in, where and when you'd like to train, the area or building you're in, whether you're in Vallarta year-round, your preferred language, how you heard about Lyf, and anything else you choose to tell us.
When you message us on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or by email, we receive the information you send.
If you become a client, we will ask about your health history, past injuries and physical condition so your training is safe. This is sensitive personal information. We only collect it with your express consent, we only use it to plan and supervise your training, and we keep it confidential.
Please don't include medical details in the inquiry form. We'll ask about them in your first conversation with Misha.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- reply to your inquiry and arrange your free consultation
- plan, deliver and adjust your training sessions and programs
- schedule sessions and send reminders
- manage payments and keep basic business records
With your permission, we may also:
- send you occasional news about Lyf, such as new classes or services
- share your words or photos as a testimonial
You can say no to these optional uses, or change your mind at any time, by emailing lyfbymisha@gmail.com. Saying no will not affect your training.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with service providers that help us run Lyf, such as our website host and database provider, our email provider and messaging apps like WhatsApp. They may store information outside Mexico and may only use it to provide their service to us. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for up to 5 years if you don't become a client. We keep client information for as long as you train with us and for as long afterwards as the law requires. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of this, email lyfbymisha@gmail.com with your name, what you'd like us to do and a way to confirm who you are. We will reply within the time the law requires.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can contact the Mexican data protection authority.
